STEVEN BALDI
Steven Baldi (b. 1983, Huntington Beach, CA) holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design, New York. His works are currently on view at The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, as part of the group exhibition Ordinary Pictures organized by Eric Crosby. His work has also been the subject of recent solo and two-person exhibitions at Thomas Duncan Gallery, Los Angeles; Andrew Kreps Gallery, New York; Vox Populi Gallery, Philadelphia; and White Columns, New York. He has participated in select group exhibitions at Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York; Raucci Santamaria, Naples, IT; Andrew Kreps Gallery, New York; Galerie Sfeir-Semler, Beirut, LB; Friedrich Petzel Gallery, New York; Simon Preston, New York; and Room East, New York. The artist lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
ANNA SEW HOY
Anna Sew Hoy was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and lives and works in Los Angeles. She received her MFA from Bard College in 2008 and her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 1998. Solo presentations of Sew Hoy’s work have been mounted at the Aspen Art Museum; the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Sikkema Jenkins & Co., New York; LAXART, Los Angeles; Various Small Fires, Los Angeles; Leslie Fritz Gallery, New York; the San Jose Museum of Art, CA; and the California Biennial (2008) at the Orange County Museum of Art. Her work is in the collections of the Hammer Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego. She was awarded a Creative Capital Grant for Visual Art in 2015 to support her public sculpture Psychic Body Grotto. She was awarded the California Community Foundation Grant for Emerging Artists in 2013, and the United States Artists Broad Fellowship in 2006. Anna Sew Hoy is represented by Various Small Fires, Los Angeles and by Koenig & Clinton, New York.
