Paul Ramirez Jonas’ latest interactive public artwork Public Trust, commissioned by Now + There and supported by the Lewis Family Foundation, is situated in three Greater Boston locations. The work will be accessible to the public between August 27–September 17th.
For 21 days, the artist has invited all interested to make a promise that Ramírez Jonas will record in a artwork that the promiser can keep. Promises are then posted on a large billboard in the context of promises made by politicians, scientists, economists, and the like.
