Galleria Paolo Curti/Annamaria Gambuzzi & Co. is pleased to announce its second solo show with Greg Bogin, opening on Tuesday, October 8 at Via Pontaccio 19 in Milan. Greg Bogin: Companion Series runs through November 8, 2013.
For this exhibition Greg Bogin debuts nine recent anthropomorphic sculptures in fluorescent hues, monochromatic solids in polyurethane that fully underline the precise, painstaking technical approach of the artist. His pictorial language, featuring shaped canvases and clear lines, is thus enriched by a three-dimensional aspect that takes form in space. The sculptures on view shed light once again on the formative path of Greg Bogin’s oeuvre, relating back to the American experimentations of the 1960s, with particular reference to Minimalism and Pop Art.
